
Bill Davisson was named CEO of GROWMARK, Inc. on
September 4, 1998. He is responsible for the administration
and direction of all activities of the corporation.
Bill graduated from the University of Iowa in 1970 with a
bachelor's degree in Accounting. He earned his Certified
Public Accountant’s certificate in 1985. He has worked in
the GROWMARK System his entire career. Bill has held various
positions of increasing responsibility in the Finance
Division, including Controller, and was named Vice
President, Finance in 1992. In 1993, he became Vice
President of Member Services.
Bill currently serves on several boards of directors,
including National Cooperative Refinery Association; CF
Industries Holdings, Inc.; MID-CO COMMODITIES, INC.,;
GROWMARK FS, LLC; Seedway, LLC; and maltaCleyton. He is
chairman of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (NCFC)
Executive Council and is chairman of the board of trustees
and executive committee of the Graduate Institute of
Cooperative Leadership. He has been active in the National
Society of Accountants for Cooperatives and has served as
its national director and president. He has also served on
the Legal, Tax and Accounting Committee of NCFC and is a
past national chairman.
Locally, Bill received the 2006 Outstanding Service to
Agriculture award given by the McLean County Chamber of
Commerce. Bill and his wife, Sue, live in Bloomington. They
have three grown children.
